Appearance


``What does the Character look like?;;
Long flowing red hair seems to always be in a mess. It doesn't know if it wants to stay in the band she has designated for it or if it just wants to be free flowing. Either way, it often gets in the way when she tries to fly. Her wings resemble a butterfly's although they are a vivid green color instead of the orangy yellow of a monarch butterfly. She tends to wear green a lot to match her wings an eyes. It makes her hair stand out more.

She is quite pale and has thing, almost spidery arms and oddly shaped legs. She wears long dresses to over them up in her desire to look more human. Her lags look more like a faun would have although more bug-like. Her dresses are elaborate and brightly colored, as was the trend with her generation. She has tattoos encircling her upper and lower arms, black vines, and others that start by her ears, trail down her chest and curl across her back.

All of these things need to be looked at very closely though, as she is only about 5 inches tall. Her voice is also very tiny. She has to yell at people in her normal form if she wants them to hear her. Although her voice sounds a lot like breaking glass, so if she yells in your ear, it might hurt a bit. She tends to whisper unless she's in a human form. Her laughter sounds like bells though, which is why she tends to do that more than talking. Her human form has a normal voice. And her appearance stays the same, minus the pointed ears and butterfly wings.

``Strengths;;
In the way of physical strength, she has almost none. She's good at running and hiding behind someone bigger, or standing on their shoulder or just plain running away. An elusive creature she finds all the best hiding spots and usually doesn't get found unless she wants to be. She is half way decent with more complicated earth magic.

``Weaknesses;;
Physical strength = none. She tends to be a little hotheaded as well and makes decisions brashly. Thinking things through isn't the strong point of her tiny brain.

Big things trying to attack her. Commitment.

``Secrets;;
Afraid of falling in love and afraid of being alone forever at the same time.
She's made a few enemies because of her trickery, whether it was stealing money or leading someone on to get what she wanted.

``Personality;; What are they like?
At the beginning of adulthood she wavers between growing up and wanting to remain a child forever. She can't seem to make up her mind. Sometimes she'll sit quietly while other times she'll be antsy, wanting to start something to entertain herself. She likes playing with people and being around them, an almost literal social butterfly.

She is a little selfish, usually finding the best path for herself before worrying about other people. Although her goals in life are very unclear to her, she tends to live in the moment and just get what she wants for the here and now. She never as to worry about finding a place to sleep or a roof over her head. Any little nook or cranny will work, but she prefers to sleep outside in a tree somewhere.

``History;;
Named Jasminantheschunii at birth, her fairy clan required everyone to have a different name, even from the deceased to avoid bad luck. They were running out of options since the clan was so old. She was almost immediately nicknamed Jaz and stuck with it. Only her parents call her by her full name. Especially when they were mad at her. Which was quite often.

As soon as she turned ten she left her house. Always confined by fairy rules, she hated growing up. She studied her earth magic half-heartedly, seemingly had a talent for it though. It came easily to her. She was a lazy student and seemed to always be bored, always wanting to leave the little community they lived in, secluded in the woods. It was safe. That's why it was boring.

She wanted to explore the world around her, so as soon as she was of age, she left and never looked back. Trouble was her middle name as she started exploring more, using a human form more. She enjoyed stealing for fun. She never really had a need for money. Except to buy more clothes. The people of the towns could arrest her all they wanted, once the sun set and she was back in fairy form, she simply escaped out of the barred windows. If she's a wanted criminal in some towns, so be it. She'll just move on to the next one.

What started as harmless fun turned her into a criminal. She keeps this hidden for as long as she can when she meets new people. Usually she prefers a human form; it makes her seem more normal, and her voice less annoying.

``Anything else you'd like to add;;
A strange effect she has on the greenery around her; her aura coaxes it to grow faster, so when she walks on the ground, new grass sprouts at her footsteps, older grass reaches a little higher. When she sits on a tree branch for an extended period of time, little flowers bloom on the branches. It's a subtle effect, although a graceful one.
